Every year we hold an exhibition at Forestville Memorial Halls.
This year's exhibition will be held on Saturday and Sunday 3 - 4 March 2018.
Layouts on show
this year are expected to include:
new H0 layout, Blue
Mountains, will make its debut. As well, our Youth Group has been
hard at work and they will premiere their new H0 layout and also
exhibit Kidz Power Railway
as a U-drive layout. We will also be showing our N gauge layout Valley
Central for the last
time before it is sold;
South Western, Peter Betts' 4mm scale dual-gauge branch line terminus
featuring standard and broad gauge track to EM standards, makes a welcome
return. Peter is a member both of NSRMA and BRMA;
Civic, Gary Bennett's Japanese City scene in N scale;
Binalong/Illalong Creek, in H0 by
Epping Model Railway Club;
End, Mark Chamberlain's 00 English shunting layout;
and Escarpment, two N scale Japanese mountain scene layouts from
Daniel and Stephen Thomson;
an 00 scale model of this station in North Wales, which closed in 1960,
built by Gordon Brown who is a Melbourne-based member of BRMA;
NT Junction, a new H0 layout from NMRA
member Al Harris.
Town, Stuart Walker's new layout in H0 depicting an Australian country town including a small suburb of houses and the Temora Flour Mill;
Somewhere, Graham McMillan's N scale freelance layout;
Keith King's representation of a NSW coastal village in N scale;
Hills Model Railway
latest H0 layout featuring scenes along the NSW east coast;
on Bodmin General, a British 0 gauge terminus by Charles Rudder who is a member
Other exhibitors are expected to
Railway Modellers of Australia (BRMA) -
members of the Meccano Modellers Assoc. Sydney Inc. will
continue the tradition set by the late Malcolm Booker who for many years
exhibited at Forestville;
Model Engineers -
a variety of engines and model machines
H0 models for the discerning modeller of Australian railways;
Hobbies - tools,
parts and accessories;
NSW ready to run;
Euro Hobby Trains
- a Sydney-based online hobby shop for European model
trains and DCC equipment.
your local model shop for the Northern Beaches;
- a producer of ready to run X200 and soon a 70 class diesel loco
as well as polyurethane kits
- offering ballast of various types;
Model Railroad Craftsman -
All the hard-to-find bits and pieces, including a range of DCC items;
Model Train Buildings/Walker Models - who specialise in laser cut timber
kits and detailed resin castings;
Modellers Warehouse - who provide high quality scenic materials, trees,
grass foliage and glues;
Rosewood Workshops - a kit supplier specialising in On30/7mm and sugar cane
- featuring an array of new rolling stock and trackside

As always, we are delighted to be
